3 - Strand Twisted General Purpose Polypropylene Rope

A strong lightweight general purpose monofilament rope with many uses. It is waterproof, rot and mildew resistant. An excellent insulator. Used by utilities companies for low dielectric loss; may be used with safety around “hot” wires. Low flammability. Will burn but very slowly. Not recommended for use on bitts and capstans where heat is a factor because it will tend to stick and fuse. Knot holding: resists bending and flexing, continued wear causes roughness and increased knot-holding properties. For most rope requirements, it is the most economical rope to buy. This synthetic rope is easier to handle than rope made from natural fibers. Highly visible bright yellow makes this rope an excellent choice for roping off areas on construction sites. Not for cable pulling.  Available in:  Yellow/Yellow/Black   Yellow/Yellow/Magenta.  Easy to splice.
